Project Linden, Inc. is a private non-profit outpatient alcohol and drug treatment and prevention services center. The philosophy of the agency is the prevention and elimination of drug abuse and addiction through education, intervention and treatment of potential and actual drug dependent persons. The mission of the agency is to promote, maintain and conduct programs and activities designed to enable persons to develop a lifestyle free of chemical dependency leading to economic independence, productivity, self-empowerment and a self-fulfilling social function. Project Linden's main purpose is to maintain and operate an outpatient treatment center; consult and network with other services, and seek funding and contributions to be used for the purpose of corporation.

Project Linden's range of services includes outpatient treatment and referrals to other treatment centers, prevention services targeting preschool to the elderly population with a special focus on women's issues, incarcerated individuals, high risk youth, the homeless population, clergy community, unemployed persons and community based services. The agency provides services within Franklin County and services are community based and are located within networking agencies, institutions, schools, recreation centers, prisons, homeless shelters, nursing homes centers, churches, halfway houses, runaway shelters, prenatal clinics/health centers and treatment agencies.

The agency was created to provide services specifically to African Americans; we remain committed to providing services to all populations and dedicated to ensure that programs and services are sensitive to the needs of ethnic populations.

Project Linden is an ODADAS certified treatment center and has provided quality services to the community for over 35 years. The agency has an extensive track record in the provision of prevention services that address the broad range of client needs. The agency remains committed toward improving services to our clients and to that end has continued to implement a Quality Improvement Program within both treatment and prevention services. Project Linden's emphasis is on the importance of all staff to maintain a high level of cultural and clinical competency skills. The agency will continue to strive to provide quality, cost effective and outcome-oriented services.
